Oh yes, we were hit quite well by Winter Storm Jonas which meant seeing very little of my husband (he offers plowing services) and I wanted to have good hearty food for him when he was home. Also much like the cobbler’s children, it also meant I knew I wouldn’t be getting out of my own driveway for a few days. I don’t know how long you all were snowed in but it was Tuesday before I left the house. So here’s what we ate.
Saturday-Homemade Chicken Pot Pie. This is the PA dutch style, not to be confused with chicken pot pie that is made in then oven. You are not from the area, you probably are confused, sent me a message and I”ll try to straight you out.
Sunday- Leftover of pot pie and Roast from Friday
Monday- Lazy Lasagna from the Trim Healthy Mama Cook book
Tuesday- Bird’s Eye Garlic Shrimp
Thursday- Wicked White Chili- Trim Healthy Mama Cookbook
Friday- pigs in a blanket and baked beans
Oh and about the Trim Healthy Mama, I’ve decided to give it a try. That doesn’t mean that all the meals here will be Trim Healthy Mama because I do have to feed my family but if you are interested I’ll share what I feed them and what I’m eating too.
